This residence is one of the newly constructed houses built as part of the revitalization of the Bealls Hill neighborhood which stretches from Shamrock Street to Telfair Street and the Orange Terrace area to the railroad line. Many of the early residents of the neighborhood worked at one of the cotton mills which was located nearby.
