1290 College St - Centenary Church

Classic Revival Style | c 1908

Centenary Church’s original building was constructed at the corner of Ash and Ross Street c. 1877. The present building was designed by architect P. E. Dennis. Rev. Bardwell, who planned the church, became president of Candler College in Havana, Cuba.

We hope that as you explore our site you will discover that Centenary is a refreshingly different sort of place. We are a community that loves deeply. We believe that at the core of his message, Jesus is calling us to "Love God, love others, love yourself, and serve."

In the words of one of our new members: "Centenary is what, in my mind, I thought a church should be and never found!"

A recent out of town guest who was visiting with a family member at Centenary had this to say: " Sometimes I wonder if you Centenary folks know what you have there. Being with you all on Sundays is as near to God's kingdom as I'm likely to get on this earth."
